Hwa Yang Enterprise Co., Ltd. Funata Corporation, a  professional manufacturer in orthopedic soft good products  for various application, including sporting and health care  protectors everything from wrist, elbow, knee, ankle and  calf and a complete line of lumbar supports and abdominal  binders, magnetic waist belts and binders.      Since 1987 Hwa Yang entered into operation exclusively as a  specialist manufacturing elastic band materials. Producing  over 200 various kinds of elastic materials ranging from 2"  (50 mm) to 13" (300 mm), using materials such as Lycra;  spandex; latex, etc.  As years passed, it turned out to be one of Taiwan's  pioneer makers of elastic materials and had once supplied  95% of the domestic demand for elastic band materials.  Backed by wealth of know-how and experience in this field,  confidence is acquired to reach out to markets aboard. In  addition, people are getting more and more conscious about  their health and the international market provides more  potential to develop in the long run. So in 1998, Funata is  formed to meet the needs of the new market. Realizing the  importance of competitive differentiation, Funata  concentrate on producing finished products and utilizing  homemade elastic materials in the designs. All products are  ergonomically designed to give more effective results.  Presently, Funata handles all the export business. 70% of  the products are exported to the Japan market and 30% to  the rest of the world.
